Richard and Heather Holmes were married October 4, 2003 at their home in Lexington. With 140 relatives and close friends in attendance, their day was filled with joy, lots of laughter and a deep appreciation of how love can change lives. Behind the scenes, Carlton Lear of Lexington Events by Design erected the tent, installed extensive lighting, ran electric from the house, built two stages, the aisleway and provided all the tables and chairs. He made it look easy, but it was hard work. Crist Creona's floral garlands and reception centerpieces were magnificent. Chef Sam Sears and his catering staff from South-Van Events are simply the best to work with at any kind of event.

2003 Wedding Highlights

Claira and Rodney Reynolds were picture perfect at the Embassy Suites for their ceremony and reception. The ballroom was turned into a dreamy lavender and cream setting with the couple exchanging vows under a chiffon canopy surrounded by friends and family. Karrol Pinney provided the flowers and canopy design, while Curtis Grace decorated the cocktail area and the entrances leading to the reception. Sam Sears continued the theme with a beautiful tiered cake accented with lavender ribbons and hydrangeas. At the end, we lit up the night with sparklers and sent Claira and Rodney off in their signature taxi cab.
